About Us
Assam House is located on Stakesby Road, a charming suburban location on the Western side of town .It is about 5 minutes walk to the West Cliff and sea front. It is also within easy walking distance to the town center.
However,If you don't feel like walking, there is a local bus stop right outside the guest house.

Parking is available outside the Guest House.
Amenities like shops(Lidl,Spar),petrol station and cash machine are situated at the top of the road.
We are a strictly non-smoking establishment.
Your host at Assam House is Dave Heselton, Dave is from a long line of Whitby seafarers that have been Mariners, Master Mariners, Naval Officers, fishermen and lifeboat men.
